Important Professional Liability Notice: Insurance Exclusions for PFAS-Related Waste Site Cleanup Activities

In February 2024, the LSPA heard from a few members that their insurance carriers were adding PFAS exclusions to their professional liability policies. This has since been confirmed by other LSPs and practitioners. To support our membership, the LSPA is compiling information that may be helpful to members re-evaluating their insurance policies. LSPA Legislative Update

The LSPA is pleased to announce that on April 25, 2024, the Massachusetts Senate passed the LSPA’s bill, S.2737, An Act relative to the remediation of home heating oil releases. Click here to learn more about this progress and review the other legislation the LSPA is following. 

LSPA Environmental Justice Grants

We received so many strong applications in 2023.  Thank you!  We’re just sorry that we couldn’t fund them all.  Congratulations to the six grant recipients for their impressive projects (most of which are still underway).

Emerging Professionals Resources 

The LSPA's Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) is dedicated to providing educational & social programs for professionals who are new to environmental consulting in Massachusetts. In addition to several other events, the EPC holds two annual events of great interest.
